The Dream Summit is one of the largest summits hosted by WFG agents Melissa and Steve Holbrook in Western Canada. It gathers over 700 attendees at the Edmonton Convention Centre, to celebrate the milestones and to provide updates in the investment world. Our team has had the privilege of growing this event within a short period of time through our expertise, creative process and continuous upgrade of audio visual technology for event production.
The Dream Summit 2025 team needed a visionary partner to bring their bold ideas to life, so for this two-day event hosting 800 attendees at the Edmonton Convention Centre, we were entrusted with complete creative control—from immersive AV design to full technical execution.
Massive Projection Screens: At the heart of the production was a striking 100-foot by 17-foot projection screen, brought to life using a seamless 4-projector blend with 20,000-lumen Epson laser projectors. To enhance visibility across the room, we flanked the main screen with two 11’ x 21’ side projection screens, each powered by 16,000-lumen projectors.
Advanced Projection Technology: To ensure seamless content blending and optimal brightness, we utilized Barco S3-4K switcher to blend four 20,000-lumen Epson laser projectors. This high-lumen projection technology delivered clear, vibrant images across the entire screen, enhancing the visual impact of the event.
On the east wall, we created a dedicated sponsor zone featuring a 9’ x 27’ projection screen that showcased sponsor content clearly and effectively throughout the event.
Stage Video Wall: Beneath the massive projection wall, we installed a 48-foot wide by 8-foot tall 2.5mm Absen LED video wall, perfectly centered on stage. This LED canvas added depth, contrast, and cinematic polish to key sessions, speaker moments, and animated backdrops.
JBL Line Array Audio System: A large JBL line array audio system was flown to ensure crystal clear sound distribution throughout the room. This setup provided powerful, evenly distributed audio, allowing all attendees to experience the event’s soundscapes with perfect clarity.
Backdrop Drapes: To enhance the visual appeal of the projection screen, we installed 120ft wide x 30ft long black velour drapes for a clean backdrop. This backdrop created a sleek, neutral background that complemented the vibrant visuals on the screen.
LED Up-Lights: 24 units of LED Par multi-colour up-lights were strategically placed to add dynamic lighting effects and set the mood. These lights provided customizable color options to match the event’s theme and enhance the overall ambiance.
LED Moving Lighting Rig: A large LED moving lighting rig was deployed to distribute lighting evenly across the main hall. This setup added ambiance and vibrancy, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere.
Stage Lights: Our stage wash and spotlights were carefully positioned to ensure optimal illumination of the stage. These lights highlighted presenters and performers, ensuring they were clearly visible and enhancing the quality of the on-screen images.
Audio and Video Control: We deployed our flagship video switchers, audio console, lighting console, and a full rack of laptops to power every visual, cue, and media element with precision. The plexiglass podium and a range of microphone options rounded out the polished, stage-ready look.
HD Multi-Camera Setup: Two high definition cameras were deployed to capture live footage of the presenters. This footage was then switched live onto the projection screens, providing an engaging and real-time viewing experience for the audience.
Our team also supported content creation and worked closely with the event’s lead graphic designer to align visuals with the show’s branding and audience experience. From custom screen transitions to animated speaker intros, we helped shape a cohesive visual journey across both days.
Clean and Professional Setup: This large-scale build required serious infrastructure. We rigged over 300 feet of truss using multiple ChainMaster motors, allowing us to fly the projection, lighting, sound system and LED elements safely and strategically.
Dream Summit 2025 was more than just a summit—it was a full-scale live production experience. With Kiwi Productions leading the design and execution, the result was a stunning, high-impact event that elevated expectations for what AV in large-scale venues can look like.
